Each Windy City Crete™ mold is crafted from Thermoplastic Polyurethane — a high-performance elastomer engineered for strength, flexibility, and longevity. Like all precision materials designed for creative work, its endurance depends on how it’s treated.
Its resilience makes it ideal for repeated concrete casting, but it remains sensitive to environmental extremes. Prolonged exposure to high heat, freezing temperatures, or direct sunlight can lead to warping, softening, or micro-deformation over time. Likewise, excessive force during demolding, twisting, or impact can weaken its structural edges.
To preserve the life of your mold:
-Store in a cool, dry environment, away from UV exposure or temperature extremes.
-Clean gently with warm water and mild soap — avoid solvents or abrasives.

Great quality and matched the description perfectly. The mold was beyond my expectations and didn’t expect getting instruction on it. Plus came with a free fingerboard with high kicks.
